Why support Inspire2Vote?

Please support our GOTV efforts.  We are sending more than 250,000 reminders via text message.  We don't use a robot, our staff is texting so we can answer questions about how to cast a ballot.

Supporting Inspire2Vote is an investment in democracy.  More than ever our nation needs to regain its footing as a representative democracy. It needs younger voices. It needs informed and engaged voices. It needs active voices.  Inspire2Vote serves to make this happen by encouraging young adults to register and vote as soon as they are eligible.

  1. Inspire2Vote is a national, nonpartisan effort to register and mobilize first-time voters before they leave high school. Young people vote at the lowest rates of any age group, yet they have the most at stake. To date, the program has registered more than 85,000 young adults in ten states and counting!
  2. Inspire2Vote creates lifetime voters. Research shows that people who vote when they first become eligible are more likely to become habitual voters and those who vote in three consecutive elections generally become lifetime voters.
  3. People are more likely to vote when asked by a friend. Inspire2Vote trains high school juniors and seniors to help their peers register to vote, find resources to educate themselves about the ballot and get to the polls on election day.

While there is no cost to students, schools, communities or partners to participate in our program, this effort certainly is not “free.” Please join us in keeping the program and all materials readily available to all.

Your tax-deductible donation of any amount will help to expand and strengthen our youth movement nationwide.

Inspire2Vote is a program of Project High Hopes, a 501(c)3 operating foundation (42-1705869).
